A darker and more enigmatic companion to 2025 EP The Container and her acclaimed
debut album Lucky Me , Premature Nostalgia draws inspiration from artists such as
Imogen Heap, Oklou, Jockstrap, James Blake, FKA twigs and Sega Bodega -
embracing warped electronics, fragmented structures and more experimental forms
of pop songwriting. The album also features collaborations with Picture Parlour's
Katherine Parlour and incorporates field recordings and metallic textures pulled
directly from Manchester's industrial landscape and club culture.
At its core, however, the album remains rooted in the bond between Phoebe and Lucy -
sisters, collaborators and proud adopted Mancunians navigating the realities of
independent artistry together.
