Murray Head is one of those artists who have made music history with a single song. Released in 1975, the crystalline, haunting notes of Say It Ain't So are still in everyone's head. A protest song, a veritable anthem against corruption, which has been transformed into a languorous ballad, a slow dance that many people have danced to, huddled together, thinking they were listening to a hit about love, without fully understanding the seriousness and significance of the lyrics.

But can you reduce a man to a single track? Certainly not, and Murray Head is much more than that. He's a passionate performer of folk and rock, who didn't hesitate to launch himself successfully into 80s new wave, while at the same time enjoying a busy acting career. In English and in French, since this native Londoner fell in love with our country a long time ago.

And while he hasn't been in the studio for a few years now, preferring his simple life at the foot of the Pyrenees to the hustle and bustle, this eternal dreamer continues to perform regularly. Because what makes his innermost being vibrate is the unique connection between him and his audience. His concerts take the form of warm reunions. With a simplicity that is astonishing for a man who has won no less than six gold and platinum discs in the course of his career. And he has topped the charts in over a dozen countries simultaneously.
