The album infuses traditional Irish folk songs with punk and psychedelia, allowing the songs to grow and transform through atmosphere, rhythm, and weight. It is an album not only about preservation, but also expansion, pushing tradition into new territory. Woven throughout are the original compositions `Dunford's March' and `Fear Dearg' which sit naturally within that same world.
